Victoria, Kissa and Natalie (P6G) This morning, we had a 6-kilometer scavenger hunt and we were all divided into two groups, Team A and Team B. The weather was hot and humid and the track was very uneven. We had to find points that are tied onto trees. After we found all 11 points, we could have lunch. Before we could start the tracking session, we had a compass lesson with Mr. Pep. We divided the food and snacks that was supplied to the two groups. We also had to do a challenge before we could go. The challenge very was complicated. Unfortunately, Team B was unable to complete the challenge as fast as Team A. |
It was very exhausting, as we had to walk for a very long period of time. We had to find the yellow rope that was tied to the trees. When we finished finding all the points, we walked to a big field to eat the food that we brought. Some of us cooked the meat and others sliced the vegetables. We all ate very hungrily. When we finished eating, we packed our bags and headed back to the campsite. We were all tired and exhausted. As we all reached the campsite, it was like paradise. Even my friends and I went to our tent and laid in our sleeping bags. It was a long but exciting trip. We learned a lot about teamwork and being responsible for others and not only for ourselves. |
Luckily, we were glad that we were not left behind or lost in the middle of the forest. After resting, we played scissor, paper, stone using the pretty-lady-tiger-and-the-hunter version. After we played that game, we played toss the ball. Everyone was asked to form a circle, then each person should have a ball on their right hand and toss the ball to their right, and receive the ball from the person on their left and receive it with their right hand. | |
